After having gone with the flow of colouring, bleaching and doing a ton of other things on our hair, the after-effect is nothing less that dry, damaged and brittle hair that ultimatety causes hair fall. Time and again, nature has proved its importance over other things in this world to benefit us. People are looking for hair care products that have natural ingredients in them and that has the least traces of harmful chemicals for nurturing hair. Nature has again proven to be the best nurturer and quite surprisingly last week I was given St Botanica Biotin & Collagen Volumizing Shampoo (for which I'm thankful ) to test and do a quick honest review.
The element that attracts the attention is the inclusion of biotin and collagen in the shampoo that adds to the volume of hair. Biotin is basically a vitamin supplement that maximises hair growth and collagen serves to nourish the hair by stimulating its growth and thereby adding volume to it. Its active ingredients include oat extract, lavender oil, sunflower seed oil, jojoba, avocado and rosemary oil. What makes it lucrative is the complete absence of harmful chemicals like parabenes, sulfates and mineral oils. It also comes with a recyclable package that takes another step forward for protecting the environment.
Just like the hair oil of St Botanica, this shampoo is very economic as a little amount of it covers a large part of your scalp. It does not only give the illusion of thicker and lusturous hair but also nourishes each and every strand of hair. The consistency of this shampoo is very smooth and has a sweet and impressive fragrance that lingers in the hair even after 3 days of washing it. What is praiseworthy is its capability to soften split ends as well (I have lots of split ends) and it makes hair incredibly soft.
Even though I have lanky hair, this shampoo did wonder within a few washes to return the volume I once boasted of. This shampoo comes in an impressive recyclable packaging that is easy to carry and the top know can be locked (by rotating it clockwise) that ensures no leakage of the same.
Now, the vital question as of whether I'll buy it again. The answer is undoubtedly yes! It tames the frizz and adds volume, so why not?
It is smooth in consistency and is economic to use
Devoid of harmful chemicals and mineral oils
Volumises even the skinniest strands of hair
Has a sweet floral note that entices the user
Maintains shine up to three days after washing
A bottle of St.Botanica of 300 ml costs 999 INR but you can get discounts in Amazon (Affiliate).
I recommend people having lifeless hair to buy this shampoo as it works wonderfully. Lastly, I'm thankful to St Botanica for sending me a sample product to try and give honest reviews. The review is completely a personal opinion of mine and I would love to hear your opinions on the same.
